Bigfoot Sighting Report #132

Town: Columbia
County: Warren
Type of Encounter: I didn't see anything
Sighted on Mar 3, 2013  4:30PM
Nearest Road: Mt. Pleasant Road
Weather Conditions: bright

Sighting Details:
My wife and I were walking back to our car down a muddy trail after visiting the Lakota Wolf Preserve. We were the only ones on the trail at the time. It was about 4:30 in the afternoon.

Because of the slippery terrain I kept looking down at the trail to get my footing. We were talking about our experience at the preserve when I noticed what appeared to be a footprint in the mud. I called to my wife who was ahead of me to come and see what I found. Before I could say anything to her she stated to me that she too saw a footprint.

The footprint was about 13/14 inches in length from heel to toe. I then took 2 photographs of the print. I looked around the area and could not find any more prints. The maker of the print was obviously crossing the trail and only made one print in the center of it. The trail is wide enough for a vehicle to drive on. We looked around but did not see nor hear anything that could have made the footprint.

We then headed back down the trail looking for other signs but did not find any.
