Bigfoot Sighting Report #115

Town: new gretna
County: burlington
Type of Encounter: footprints
Sighted on May 1, 2009  11:00AM
Nearest Road: amasas landing rd
Weather Conditions: overcast

Sighting Details:
As i spend a lot of time on the medows catching bait for fisherman. iam very familiar with whats out there this day i started on the top of the tide and fished thru to the low tide while walking and checking my traps i found this single footprint below the tide line in a area that would have been underwater earlier i can assure you that i was the only person there at that time iam not the type of person who belives in this but i had to. take the picture i had a cell phone so this is what it looked like. i would welcome your thoughts i can provide photo

Here is the reply I received from Dr. Jeff Meldrum. I am hard pressed to think of anyone more qualified to evaluate the print.

Yes, it does look human -- toe configuration, well-developed ball and arch -- and in spite of the witness's assurance that there was no one else there, a picture of a human-appearing footprint, lacking any reference to scale, should probably be considered human until additional evidence indicates otherwise.
