Bigfoot Sighting Report #33

Town: West Milford
County: Passaic
Type of Encounter: Medium Range
Sighted on Nov 16, 2004  5:00AM
Nearest Road: Skyline Drive
Weather Conditions: clear

Sighting Details:
A bow hunter on an early morning hunt noticed a strong musky, foul oder in the area he was hunting. He had arrived early at a tree stand that he uses regularly. The smell kept drifting in and out of the area. After about 2 hours he climbed down from the stand and headed back toward his truck, taking the longer route along an "old logging trail."

He smelled the oder again and decided to knock an arrow. Ahead of him about 50 yards away he saw a creature enter the trail. The creature, neither a deer or a bear according to the witness, turned and looked in his direction. Then the creature turned around and stepped back off the trail and walked back in the direction it had come.

The witness described the creature broad shouldered with no neck. The face appeared "shiny" with less hair. No additional features were noted.

The sighting occurred off Westbrook Road near the Wanaque Reservoir.
